Faces began with the realization that every time I play with clay, even when I repeat the same shape and the same gesture, a different face appears. The repetition may seem to produce the same thing, but it never does. Each touch belongs to a particular moment, and that moment cannot be repeated. Through this process, each face becomes an individual presence, born from the same gesture but never identical to another.
